Kindergarten where every question leads to a new adventure 💜
WIOSKA Promyka is a place where children learn through hands-on experiences, experimentation, and close contact with nature. Our approach is based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which sees children as active creators of their own learning. We provide them with support, mindful guidance, and space to explore the world, build relationships, and develop independence.
What makes us unique?
💟 GENTLE ADAPTATION – every child adjusts to the new environment at their own pace, close to their parent. We support this process by creating a space full of safety and predictability, allowing the child to form a relationship with the teacher according to their individual needs. Only one child adapts at a time, receiving the full attention of a dedicated teacher.
💟 TRILINGUALISM – language learning through immersive experiences. In addition to Polish-speaking teachers, we are accompanied daily by English- and Spanish-speaking educators.
💟 PROJECT-BASED LEARNING – children learn through their own experiences, questions, and experiments, while educators support their exploration. Projects (aligned with the core curriculum) often stem from the children's interests – we investigate together, construct, and seek answers to pressing questions, inspiring further discovery.
💟 CONNECTION TO NATURE – we go outside every day, regardless of the weather. Children explore their surroundings, cook in a mud kitchen, build forts, observe the changing seasons, and experience nature with all their senses. Puddles, mud, and rain are our natural learning environment!
💟 EMPATHIC COMMUNICATION – we teach children to express emotions and care for each other. In daily interactions, we use Nonviolent Communication (NVC), helping children practice attentive listening, express their needs, and build respectful relationships. We do not use rewards or punishments, and conflicts are resolved through mini-mediations.
💟 OPEN DOORS FOR PARENTS – we build a community of parents around the kindergarten, organize meetings and workshops, and invite parents daily to our "Afternoons with Parents." We believe that raising children is a shared process, so we encourage parents to actively participate in everyday life and special events, as well as vacations and holiday trips.
What does daily life at WIOSKA Promyka look like?
Each day is a chance to discover and experience. Once a week, we venture into the forest, build shelters, cook soup from mud and leaves, and create using natural materials. We wear rain boots and waterproof clothing to jump in puddles and play in the rain. We experiment with clay, paint with light, and construct with cardboard. Children learn through play, exploration, and hands-on activities – with curiosity and engagement.
How do we start the day?
Every morning at WIOSKA Promyka, children arrive to find carefully prepared stations with educational provocations. On one table, spilled paints invite exploration of colors and swirling patterns. In another area, a tray of sand and pebbles encourages creating designs. Nearby, a box with flashlights and translucent tiles invites experiments with light and shadow. Each day, children discover something new based on their own interests.
What can parents expect at WIOSKA Promyka?
Parents are always warmly welcomed. They can enter the classroom, stay with their child, and talk with educators. Our doors are always open – this is a space where community is built. Parents feel part of the kindergarten, participate in workshops, meetings, picnics, and sometimes lead activities, sharing their passions or professions. We communicate in the spirit of NVC, care for relationships, and support each other in everyday parenting.
What do we offer children?
🎨 Art and experimentation – painting on unconventional surfaces, sculpting with clay, creating artistic installations. Children paint with their hands on transparent acrylic sheets, watching light pass through their compositions.
🎭 Theater and storytelling – role play, shadow theater, storytelling with everyday objects. Children co-create scripts and build puppets from natural materials to bring their stories to life.
🌱 Nature education – forest trips, building insect hotels. Children collect leaves, stones, and branches to make nature collections used in creative experiments and exploratory play.
🎵 Music activities – music therapy elements, singing, and creating instruments from recycled materials. Children build drums from cans and balloons and compose rhythmic pieces, expressing emotions through sound.
💡 Scientific experiments – observing how water absorbs into different materials, experimenting with magnets, building marble tracks. Children create small chemistry labs by mixing liquids and observing color changes.
🛠 Construction play – building with wood, cardboard, bricks, and other natural materials. They design and build cities with roads, bridges, and buildings, enhancing spatial imagination.
🧸 Physical activity – sensory paths, kids' yoga, and outdoor games. Obstacle courses made from logs and cones help develop motor skills and balance.
🌳 Off-site excursions – monthly visits to places like bakeries, libraries, or fire stations. Children also go on trips to museums or theaters, broadening horizons and supporting social development.
Adaptation at BLISKO
Our adaptation process is gentle and tailored to each child. Initially, the child stays with a parent, getting used to the new environment. Gradual separations are introduced with respect for the child’s emotions and readiness. We support parents by sharing knowledge and experience, e.g., through our Adaptation Guide. Daily routines, familiar activities, and the presence of trusted teachers create a safe space for exploration.

We are passionate professionals combining expertise in pedagogy, psychology, neurobiology, as well as design and interior architecture. We are also parents, which gives us a unique opportunity to test our ideas with the most demanding and brutally honest experts – our own children. We embrace this perspective, gratefully receiving their feedback, and act in the spirit of Nonviolent Communication, respecting diversity. The founder of BLISKO is Ola Kozera, who created the first Wioska – Wioska Promyka – fulfilling her dream of a relationship-based childcare space. It was here that she first implemented a unique approach grounded in mindfulness, connection, and free exploration of the world – inspired by what she learned during her studies in Mind, Brain & Education at Harvard.

Anna Sobina
Teacher
For the past three years, I have worked at a Polish school in the United Kingdom. During this time, I discovered my true passion – working with children, which for me feels like a dream come true. I can say with full confidence that I am an educator by calling. I love working with young children, valuing their honesty and unique way of seeing the world. My aspiration is for the children in our Wioska to understand the world around them, to be able to formulate questions independently and seek their own answers – but most importantly, to be filled with confidence in their abilities. I want every young person to know that the world is at their feet.
Kamila Jakubowska
Teacher
I am a preschool teacher, and working with children has been my passion for an extraordinary 18 years. My background in pedagogy and a completed art therapy course form a strong foundation of knowledge that I apply every day to support the development of your children. For me, art is not only a form of personal creativity but also a magical tool for building relationships with the children in my care. I’m a mother to two-year-old Rozalka and a happy wife – and motherhood is a constant source of inspiration in understanding and nurturing children's development. At kindergarten, I’m not only a guide but also the caretaker of the atelier space, creating vivid narratives of the children’s activities that I strive to share with you in an inspiring way. My motto, based on the words of Paulo Coelho, is: “A child can teach an adult three things: to be happy for no reason, to always be busy with something, and to demand — with all their might — what they want.” The Reggio philosophy allows me to discover the world together with the children, closely observing and following their interests and questions. I also draw inspiration from the works of Jesper Juul, recognizing the innate potential of every child in my care.

Program i podejście edukacyjne

At Wioska Promyka, children learn through hands-on experiences, exploration, and wonder – instead of routine activities, we offer inspiring projects and educational provocations. Our approach draws from the Reggio Emilia philosophy, nurturing natural curiosity and independent discovery of the world. Every day, children experiment, build, and create, while educators accompany them with attentiveness rather than imposing ready-made solutions. It’s an education that grows alongside the children – we follow their questions, fascinations, and pace, creating a space for free and authentic development.
